Well, at least now he doesn't have the distraction of Washington, D.C., and all those little political issues. You know, the ones like dismantling the entire government and firing employees left and right to distract him from what really matters: flying his overcompensating, phallic rocket ship to Mars. Adios, Elon. Don't forget to pick Trump up on the way up.
Thanks for commenting. The weird about Musk is that he has actually done astonishing things with EVs, batteries, spacelink, neural implants etc But there us some other really strange side of him with drugs, personal lifestyle, publicity, runaway ego, etc. But I think that his horrible side is required for his success.
Yes… Some of that mad genius kind of thing. I think he's a bit of a narcissist. Sometimes some of these individuals have mental illnesses that are contained until they get older. Then paranoia starts to show or manic depression or delusions... and just the behavior that came out in a few months he was working with the White House, definitely paints a picture of someone who doesn't emotionally regulate.
I laughed at the “everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face” line.
Classic Mike Tyson, but it also works perfectly for the AI and robotics world. These systems might be impressive on paper, but physical reality throws curveballs that no amount of data training can fully prepare them for. I am curious. There is an awful amount of work and research that goes into your articles. It is appreciated. The details. Happy Tuesday David
My article, innocently started last October, has taken me into new areas quite by chance. I realised the benefits and depth of AI and robots, but at the same time there are multiple problems including really bad things about them. As well of course as the extreme hype. I do what I normally did when I was a consultant in terms of learning everything is to find real experts and read and follow a bunch of them. It’s actually being easier to write now as I’ve read so much during the week that I just write from my notes in onenote.
And in order to not turn myself nuts, I’ve just dropped my interest in and following of a bunch of different topics, including politics, culture wars, etc.
I’m now applying the AI “knowledge” to my entrepreneur writing endeavour and will be coming out with a 9 part series on AI, hype and the consulting industry. The last five in the series are going to be partially pay walled because they are solutions I think the consultants should be following.
Plus, my audio-novel which is partly about the illusions created from AI. I’m able to record podcasts using my voice that then gets changed using AI itself. The technology works well when it’s transforming a recorded voice. Even the voice from text technology eventually sounds a little artificial.
I have. I wrote about them before and also about the License Plate readers. Basically linking a lot of disparate data about people and organizations together and naking it easily and readily accessible.
But surprisingly most people don’t get too concerned with the loss of their privacy. I had a Prof who forecast this lack of concern about privacy back in 1980.
Ahhhh, I think I got that one right!

I think more than a bit. I think drug usage is a problem. Certainly one of the most unusual leaders ever

I am also retired.
Hmm...Musk hasn't been nailing it exactly.
Are you following Thiel and Palantir in the regime now?
